Superb Combi Review - Superb Combi, like other Skoda models, received good critics regarding its price. It’s like you own an Audi A6 sized car, but with the price of a Volkswagen Passat. But those are just some comparisons, the 2014 models is very outstanding as Superb Combi has been upgraded and sharpened.
When the three generations were released, Superb Combi only took us a little bit of time to get used to the car shape, especially the lights. Years have passed, and now they are a normal sight in the streets of Europe, and people have become used to seeing them. The facelift using restyled front end, now have been added with a new feature “Family Face” as well as a different back side. Superb Combi also uses bi-xenon and LED lights combined with day lights.
At the rear side of the Superb Combi, the lift back sedan uses a graphical light shaped like a tail, some sort of estate or Superb Combi. Superb Combi exterior change also includes two new colors (silver and white).
Superb Combi interior has been modified to match the price and the buyers are expected to choose their own preferences out of nine available variations, including three or four spoke steering wheels. Superb Combi stop spec is wrapped in a new ivory colored skin, making Superb Combi look like a luxurious car.
The engine used for Superb Combi is still the same as before, but it was upgraded to increase fuel efficiency up to 19%. As an example, the 1.6-litre TDI (diesel) Greenline now reached 4,1 1/100 km (67.2 mgp UK). For the first time this engine was expected to use 2.0-liter TDI with manual transmission on the all-wheel drive model.
The best ability, which is the capability to support passengers as well as lots of luggage, is sustained. The body curve of both version is still classy, thanks to a long wheelbase, a square-ish overall shape, and professionally wrapped interior. ABD and ESP standards are a given, with adaptive (self-dimming) lights and hill-hold as an assistant. A screening system as well as nine airbags which are offered as current security facilities.
The only disappointing thing in 2014 is the restyling work. It could affect the positives as this face lifted version is not very attractive, like the new Octavia.
